JOB DESCRIPTION: To manage the school food service program in accordance with federal and state laws and regulations, local and state health ordinances, and school district policies.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or GED required. Experience in institutional food preparation, including one year supervisory experience; or any equivalent combination of training and experience. Possess or be able to obtain a Serv-Safe Certification according to the requirements set forth by the Jefferson County Health Department.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
NOTE: Employment experience gained in the private employment sector may be considered for this position.
