Echo Hollow Veterinary Hospital & Urgent Care is seeking a Co-Medical Director to join our growing team in Eugene, Oregon. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced veterinarian who is passionate about practicing high-quality medicine while helping lead a collaborative, high-performing hospital.

Leadership Responsibilities

As Co-Medical Director, you will:

Support and mentor veterinarians and support staff
Promote high medical standards and best practices
Partner with hospital leadership on team development and retention
Help guide hospital growth and service expansion
Support a positive and collaborative hospital culture
Continue practicing medicine while maintaining leadership responsibilities

8-doctor team with 3-4 doctors scheduled daily
4 Certified Veterinary Technicians (CVTs)
2 additional team members pursuing certification
2-3 dedicated assistants or CVTs assigned to each doctor
Dedicated surgical assistant

Qualifications

Required

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college of veterinary medicine, or equivalent certification for international graduates
Successful completion of the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE)
Active Oregon veterinary license in good standing, or ability to obtain licensure prior to start date

Preferred

Experience utilizing digital radiography, dental radiography, and in-house diagnostics
Experience in small animal general practice, urgent care, or companion animal medicine
Previous leadership experience or strong interest in veterinary leadership
Strong communication, mentorship, and team-building skills
Commitment to high-quality medicine and client service

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
