What is Sales Development?
Corporate Sales Development is responsible for the development and management of corporate sales incentive programs and strategies designed to maximize the revenue and market share performance for corporate accounts. This co-op opportunity is based at our General Offices (GO) and functions as a back-office support role. In this position, you will support the department by partnering closely with our analysts, field partners, and other commercial departments.
Job Summary:
As a Sales Development Co-op, you will act as an internal consultant within the department, leading semester-long projects that support divisional strategies and business objectives. These initiatives often involve cross-functional collaboration to identify opportunities, improve processes, and deliver solutions that drive efficiency. Co-ops apply strong critical thinking and interpersonal skills to perform tasks such as:
These projects are often complex and may involve exposure to sensitive or confidential information and present moderate financial risk. The final project deliverable is a capstone presentation given to division leaders highlighting project lessons learned, impacts made, and recommendations going forward.
