How you''ll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)

We are seeking a Co‑Op student to support efforts in streamlining automation processes for FACTS reporting and enhancing department-level dashboard updates. This role will play a key part in improving efficiency, reducing manual work, and ensuring consistency and accuracy across reporting outputs.

This is an excellent opportunity for a student interested in data analytics, automation, and business intelligence to gain hands-on experience working with operational data and cross-functional stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the automation and optimization of FACTS processes, including recurring reporting workflows and data preparation.
  • Assist with dashboard updates across departments, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce manual processes and recommend automation solutions.
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and help translate them into scalable solutions.
  • Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure integrity of outputs.
  • Document processes, automation logic, and reporting definitions.
  • Provide support for ad hoc reporting and analysis requests.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's (Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field at an accredited institution, college or university.

  • Ability to commit to the full duration of the 3-rotation program: Spring 2027, Fall 2027, and Summer 2028

  • Strong interest in automation, data analytics, and process improvement.

  • Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data manipulation).

  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).

  • Exposure to automation tools or programming (e.g., Python, SQL, Power Automate, VBA) is a plus.

  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and communicate effectively.

  • Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.

  • Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.

  • Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.

  • Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
