Position Responsibilities: Transports patients according to their physical abilities relative to the exams requested. Uses positioning aides as needed to produce a quality patient exam. Operates all CT associated equipment. Protects patient according to X-Ray Department policies and procedures. Assists/administers contrast media as ordered by Radiologist. Assists in performing special procedures. Assists in the training of Radiology students. Practices sterile technique and Universal Precaution. Maintains all records according to X-ray Department policies and procedures. Cleans rooms following each examination. Restocks linen and supplies as needed. CT Tech Required Education & Experience: Two years previous experience preferred. Satisfactory completion of formal radiology technology training in an AMA approved school and is registered by the ARRT. Registered/certified CT Technologist required. BLS Certification Required. -MRI is a BIG PLUS but not required
