The winter basketball season runs from mid November to early March. Exact dates to be determined.\n \nOUR DISTRICT\n \nThe Sultan School District is one of the larger geographical school districts in the Puget Sound area, consisting of approximately 325 square miles. Sultan School District has approximately 2,200 students enrolled K-12. Contact Human Resources, 360-793-9800, 514 4th Street, Sultan, WA 98294\n \nJOB SUMMARY\n \nThis position requires the coach to perform duties as assigned by the Head Coach and/or the Athletic Director which involve managing the sport program duties to include providing instruction and experiences for students to help prepare them mentally and physically for athletic competition, as well as to enhance their personal, physical and social growth and development in a multi-ethnic environment.\n \nWORK ENVIRONMENT\n \nWork is typically performed in a gymnasium; requires substantial extra-hours work, travel between sites, stamina, endurance, and physical exertion associated with demonstrating techniques; may be required to balance, crouch, crawl, bend, kneel, and stand for prolonged periods; may be exposed to high noise levels and childhood diseases; and may experience a multitude of demands and changing priorities with frequent interruptions.\n \nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS\n \nThis list of essential job functions is not exhaustive and may be supplemented as necessary.
