The Howards Grove School District is looking to hire a Varsity Baseball Coach for the 2026-2027 school year. This coaching position requires comprehensive knowledge of the sport, the ability to motivate and communicate that knowledge in a manner appropriate to school-age student athletes, keeping the best interest of Howards Grove athletes in mind when making decisions. Experience as a player/coach is preferred. The successful candidate will have a belief that sportsmanship is critical to the success of the program, and will also have the ability to cooperate, work and communicate with students, parents, colleagues, administration and the community, as well as be a team player.
Schedules and practices will be discussed at the time of interview. Practices and games are generally held after school. The season goes from March 22 - June with summer contact option through July.
