HS Boys Assistant Soccer Coach Appendix II - 1 per school if over 25 participants
SALARY RANGE: $2990.00
CONTRACT LENGTH: Sport Season
Basic Function:
Responsible for assisting the coach to guide and direct students in a successful soccer program at the intermediate school level.
IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR:
- Head Coach
- Athletic Director
- School Principal
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for helping the coach organize and plan the practices including a progressive and developmental approach to teaching sport-related skills.
- Responsible for assisting in the out-of-season programs to assist the development of the sport.
- Develop conditioning programs to develop improved strength, skill, and agility.
- Demonstrate an interest in and support of the entire school program by attending activities and developing a feeder school program.
Qualifications:
- Experience as a high school intermediate soccer coach in a successful program.
- Must have good communication skills.
- Must be able to get along with students and parents.
- Ability to motivate athletes.
- Experience as a soccer participant at the high school or college level.
