JOB TITLE: Coach: Wrestling-Girls Varsity Assistant
Position Summary: Athletic coaches are responsible for leading a competitive program that emphasizes sportsmanship, integrity, and teamwork. The coach is a key leader who fosters athletic and academic excellence while maintaining professional boundaries and clear communication within the school community.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Student & Team Development
Design and implement high-quality practice plans and competition strategies focused on student growth.
Communication
Maintain proactive, clear, and professional communication with student-athletes, parents, school administration, and community stakeholders.
Presence & Engagement
Attend all scheduled practices, games, and departmental events, including "Raider Council" meetings and other requirements outlined in the Coaches Handbook.
Compliance & Ethics
Ensure full compliance with all District policies, WIAA rules, and state/federal statutes. Maintain the highest standards of ethical conduct and professional boundaries with students and staff at all times.
Safety & Environment
Create a safe, inclusive environment for all participants. Demonstrate appropriate conduct while representing the District on and off-site.
