The Coating Assistant Operator must understand, follow, and strictly comply with ALL safety rules and regulations. This includes recognizing and responding to potential hazards and safeguards such as:

Work Schedule
This position works a rotating shift schedule that changes every 4 weeks.
Shift length may be 8‑hour or 12‑hour shifts, depending on production needs.
Shift options include:
Candidates must be willing and able to work any and/or all shifts as required.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with machine setup, startup, operation, and shutdown
Learn and operate online support equipment, including:
HMI systems (SCADA, Wonderware)
Camera systems
Thickness gauges and UV lights
Viscometers, corona treaters, web cleaners, and edge guides
Perform Make Ready tasks, including:
Proper die setups
Pump setups
Hose making
Assembling feed systems
Parts cleaning
Learn and follow TPM (Total Preventive Maintenance) practices
Understand FIFO, material usage, and material charging procedures
Perform basic troubleshooting as required
Follow applicable quality system procedures and documentation
Coordinate material handling in support of production
Assist with accurate time and material accounting
Participate in quality issue resolution and communication
Maintain proficiency in all tasks listed in the employee training record
Participate in ongoing training, team activities, and continuous improvement efforts
