Description:

CTG's long-standing Fortune 500 client of over 15 years has a W2 contract assignment for a Coating Data Coordinator to support production operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for collecting, entering, maintaining, and analyzing production and operational data for the Coating Department.

 

The ideal candidate will possess strong Microsoft Excel skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while supporting departmental reporting and performance tracking initiatives.

 

DOD/ITAR Compliant Required - This is an ITAR facility. DOD compliance requires US Citizens for this role.

Job Title: Coating Data Coordinator

Location: Fairport, NY
Candidates must be able to commute and work onsite in Fairport, NY

Pay Rate: Based on experience

Work Hours: M-F 8am-5pm

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, organize, and maintain production, quality, downtime, and operational data
• Enter and manage data within spreadsheets, databases, and internal tracking systems
• Generate reports and support departmental performance tracking initiatives
• Review source documentation for completeness and data accuracy
• Assist with identifying trends, discrepancies, and reporting inconsistencies
• Communicate with supervisors and production personnel to resolve missing or inaccurate data
• Maintain organized electronic and paper records
• Support additional reporting and special projects as assigned

Required Qualifications

• 1-3+ years of experience in data entry, reporting, administrative support, or manufacturing documentation
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications required
• Experience manipulating and analyzing data in Excel preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Comfortable working within both office and manufacturing environments

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with production or manufacturing data
• Familiarity with ERP, MES, or production tracking systems
• Ability to identify data discrepancies and follow through on corrections

Physical / Work Environment Requirements

• Ability to walk between office and production floor environments
• Ability to sit for extended periods while entering and reviewing data
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
