This role involves performing processes to thermally apply pack aluminide coatings on gas turbine engine components as part of a team.
Primary duties include tasks such as retort packing, furnace loading, spray coating, abrasive blasting, coating monitoring, and quality inspections according to work instructions and customer specifications. Additional responsibilities may involve assembly, disassembly, vibratory tumbling, blending, peening, grit blasting, and masking.
The operator must follow safety rules, maintain high quality standards, perform routine machine maintenance, and document quality checks. Adherence to 5s/CPEX policies and continuous improvement are essential.
Qualifications include a HS diploma or GED, with 3-5 years of manufacturing experience preferred. The role requires the ability to follow instructions, interpret work instructions, and work effectively in a team. Work hours are 7pm-7am.
