Coating Technician

Coating Technician – Coppell, TX
Pay: $18.00–$21.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-time (2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM)

Our client in Dallas is actively hiring Coating Technicians to support their production team. This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and ideal for someone who enjoys physical, detail-oriented work in a manufacturing environment.



Key Responsibilities

• Apply catalytic WashCoat (water-based, paint-like material) to ceramic or metallic substrates using dipping or pouring methods.
• Record weights by entering numeric data into a computer database.
• Load coated substrates into a batching oven and unload/pack completed substrates onto pallets.
• Perform ancillary tasks including:
  • Laser etching codes onto substrates
  • Applying insulation tape around coated substrates
  • Maintaining coating stations and keeping equipment clean
• Lift and handle materials up to 50 lbs (role involves significant manual labor).
• No specialized or powder coating experience required.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–3 years of related experience or equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Experience with chemicals is a plus.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• Forklift experience is a plus.

Requirements

• Must pass a drug test.
• Must have a valid ID.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• No felonies.
