ABOUT THIS ROLE

We are seeking a Coatings Technician in Malden, MA to support our local and field-deployed technical service team members. This role will focus on understanding application methodologies for our advanced coating portfolio.

Previous experience in a wet chemistry or coatings lab environment is desirable. An associate or bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline is preferred, though not required. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with technical service team members on coating samples for customers and maintain and log samples sent by customers.
• Support team members in designing and conducting experiments and consolidating data while maintaining independent timelines.
• Collaborate with our global sales and global technical services teams to provide creative solutions to customers and improve our application methodology.
• Develop preventative maintenance programs for dispense equipment and provide regular maintenance support.
• Maintain laboratory conditions in a manner that promotes cleanliness and productivity for all lab users.
• Assist with domestic and international shipments of hazardous materials.

This position is based in Malden, MA and is accessible via the Orange Line.

Salary Range: 55,000 - 79,000
