Job Overview
Under the supervision of the Management professors, Instructional Student Assistants (ISAs) provide instructional support for the Management courses during the Fall 2026 semester. ISAs may assist with grading, tutoring, and other course-related activities that support student learning and faculty instruction.
ISAs work part-time, up to 20 hours per week during academic periods. Students may hold concurrent Student Assistant positions provided their combined work hours do not exceed 20 hours per week.
The Management Department in the College of Business Administration accepts applications for ISA positions throughout the Fall 2026 semester as part of its ISA Pool. Applications remain active through Fall 2026.

Anticipated Pay Rate
The anticipated hiring range is generally at or near the minimum of the appropriate range, commensurate with education and experience.
Instructional Student Assistants are non-exempt employees. CSU policy limits work assignments to no more than 20 hours in a week in all campus positions combined while students are in session.

Applications are accepted and reviewed as needed, on an on-going basis throughout the Fall 2026 semester. Applications will be reviewed starting August 6th, 2026. All positions are subject to enrollment/registration as a CSUSM student and funding.
