Interns will gain hands-on experience in poultry production and live operations, exploring various production processes and supporting departments like Safety and Quality Assurance. They are encouraged to contribute innovative ideas and may have the opportunity for full-time employment based on performance and business needs.
This position prioritizes local candidates from Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Tennessee, Kentucky, Georgia, North Carolina, or South Carolina, with out-of-area candidates considered if local spots are unavailable. Applicants must be enrolled in a bachelor’s program with at least one semester remaining, preferably in agriculture or related fields. Strong communication, basic computer skills, self-motivation, teamwork, problem-solving, and time management are essential.
Requirements include submitting a resume, and highlighting intentions for further education if applicable. Housing assistance is available, but relocation is not.
