Primary Responsibilities:
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Receive and take guest orders and process in a timely manner through whatever systems are currently used in the restaurant.
- Serve food and beverages to guests and refill drinks accordingly.
- Perform sidework and/or opening & closing duties as specified.
- Operate point of sale system.
- Clean tables, straighten chairs, and keep floor free of debris.
- Clean service area and replenish as needed.
- Bus and set tables.
- Assist in Room Service (if necessary).
- Handle cash and credit transactions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Communicate with support crew and management.
- Volunteer hotel information to guests. Must be knowledgeable about other restaurants, shops and locations on property and about current/upcoming events.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year restaurant experience.
- High volume experience.
- Good food and service knowledge.
- Basic POS knowledge.
- Pleasant personality.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Flexible schedule required, to include AM/PM, weekends and holidays.
