Cocktail Server (Part-Time)

Job Summary:

Take drink orders on the casino floor and/or bar areas, prepare and serve the drinks in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Taking guests drink orders
• Cocktail servers are to do a floor sweep every 20 minutes to ensure guests have proper and timely drink service
• Preparing the drinks in the absence of the bartender
• Serving drinks to the guests
• Keeping bar areas and server stations cleaned and stocked
• Assisting bartenders and barbacks as needed

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education and/or Experience:

• HS Diploma or Equivalent

Certificates, Licenses, Registration:

• Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission License

Language Skills:

• Must be able to effectively communicate in English

Mathematical Skills:

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

Computer Skills:

• Must have Microsoft Office experience and basic computer skills.
