SUMMARY
Serves beverages to patrons seated at tables in bar or cocktail lounges, bowling lanes, and party rooms by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Take customers' orders and relay them to Bartender and Kitchen. • Collect drinks from the Bartender and serve them to patrons. • Accepts payment and gives appropriate change. • Requests identification from customers. Per Arizona liquor laws. • Removes empty or dirty glasses and bottles and returns them to the bar or kitchen. • Respond promptly to customer needs. • Follows policies and procedures. • Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness in your orders and money. • Observe safety and security procedures. • Uses equipment and materials properly. • Is consistently at work and on time. • Follows instructions, responds to management direction; and takes responsibility for own actions. • Ensure all logs are complete and signed. • Other duties may be assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Ability to accurately total customer bills and make accurate changes. • Must be friendly and outgoing. • Must be able to walk and stand for long periods. • Must be able to lift a minimum of 10 pounds regularly. • Must be able to work in an environment with loud noise and smoke.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Must have a food handler's card or obtain one
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
• High School diploma or GED preferred • 6 months of work experience in a related field.
