About Us:
Mavericks Dancehall – The Colony is a lively, welcoming bar where great drinks and great service go hand in hand. Whether it’s game night, live music, or a busy weekend rush, we’re known for creating good vibes and memorable nights. We're on the lookout for a friendly, fast, and professional Cocktail Server to join our floor team and help keep the energy going strong.
What You’ll Do:
- Greet guests with a warm, friendly attitude
- Take drink and food orders accurately and efficiently
- Deliver orders promptly and ensure guest satisfaction
- Check IDs and follow all alcohol service laws
- Maintain clean and organized service areas and tables
- Communicate with the bar and kitchen staff for smooth service
- Handle payments and operate POS system
- Provide attentive, personalized service even during busy hours
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- A positive attitude and team-player mindset
- Previous serving experience preferred (especially in a bar or fast-paced setting)
- Comfortable working nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and think on your feet
- Must be 21+ and have (or be able to obtain) any required local/state certifications (TABC Certificate and Food Handlers Certificate)
