Job Description
Performs a variety of working level technical duties related to enforcing the provisions of City laws, codes, ordinances, regulations and other legal issues related to streets, sidewalks, parking strips, abandoned vehicles, snow, weeds, signage, and hazardous and nuisance abatement issues. Enforce city ordinances including those related to domestic animals, and livestock.Drives and is actively engaged in the enforcement of all City ordinances and oversees the daily operation of Code Enforcement within the City along with providing the highest levels of service possible through enforcement and ordinance education to the public.

A. Graduation from high school or equivalent AND
B. Two (2) years of responsible experience in Animal Control/Code Enforcement; Preferred currently attending Utah Post Academy or LEO Certified

Compensation and Benefits
Wage Range:
Full wage range is as follows. Please note hiring will normally occur at the minimum of the range and will not exceed the midpoint.
Minimum - $22.13/hr. Midpoint - $26.56/hr. Maximum - $30.99/hr.

In lieu of the City's Social Security contributions, the City contributes 6.2% of salary into a 401(k) retirement plan. Leave time benefits include 120 hours of paid time off (PTO) accrued annually, 40 hours of short-term medical accrued annually, and 11 holidays annually.
