Description
The City of Richmond, Department of Planning & Development Review is currently seeking a Code Enforcement Inspector -Building, who must be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience with Virginia Building and Trade Codes. Additionally, the ideal candidate must be able to work independently in conducting a range of trade specific inspections on residential and commercial buildings as well as managing specific projects related to these types of code inspections.

This position is considered an Essential Personnel, which means that the incumbent is required to work when the City is closed due to public emergencies, critical or hazardous conditions or inclement weather. This individual may be required to work nights, weekends, holidays or on-call, as needed.
