The City of Waco Seeks
A proactive and experienced leader to oversee the City of Waco's Code Enforcement Program. The ideal candidate will supervise staff, manage daily operations, and ensure effective enforcement of ordinances that protect public health, safety, and community standards.

Position Overview
The Code Enforcement Manager performs a variety of leadership and technical duties in support of the City of Wacos Code Enforcement Program. Using sound judgment and a proactive approach, the Manager supervises the duties of the Code Enforcement division, enforcing a variety of applicable ordinances, codes, and regulations related to land use matters, building construction, housing standards, health and safety, property maintenance, fire safety, vehicle laws, and other matters of public concern that directly impact the community. Additionally, work involves scheduling, assigning and evaluating code enforcement program activities; manages code enforcement field officers and administrative support staff directly.
