TITLE: Coding Club Adviser
STIPEND: $600
SUMMARY: Reporting to the Building Principal, the Middle School Coding Club Advisor is responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising a student coding club that meets twice per month over the course of six months during the school year. The advisor will foster student interest in coding, computer science, and technology through engaging, age-appropriate activities and projects in a safe and supportive environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Current member of the Oxford Education Association.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to remain in a stationary position for extended periods; position oneself to demonstrate technique; move up to 25 lbs. Accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities to perform the functions.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work is generally performed primarily indoors and predominantly in a school classroom.
