    Coding & Documentation Compliance Auditor-(26154008) Description _____

    The Coding & Documentation Compliance Auditor will be responsible for ensuring that coding and documentation practices are in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. This includes reviewing and analyzing medical records, coding systems, and billing processes to identify areas for improvement and implementing changes to ensure compliance.

    Responsibilities ----------------

    • Review and analyze medical records, coding systems, and billing processes to identify areas for improvement • Develop and implement coding and documentation policies and procedures • Conduct audits and reviews to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards • Collaborate with healthcare providers, coders, and billing staff to ensure accurate and compliant coding and documentation practices • Provide education and training to healthcare staff on coding and documentation best practices • Identify and report any potential compliance issues or discrepancies • Develop and maintain compliance reports and dashboards

    Requirements ------------

    • Bachelors degree in a related field (e.g. healthcare administration, medical coding, or a related field) • 2+ years of experience in coding and billing, or a related field • Strong knowledge of coding and documentation practices, including ICD-10-CM and CPT coding systems • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
