Overview:

COE Scheduling Trainer

Location: Remote

Position: COE Scheduling Trainer

Remote/Virtual Position: Yes

Hourly: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour, depended upon experience.

What You Need to Know:

The Scheduling Center of Excellence Trainer will assist in providing comprehensive training for schedulers at AccentCare. Training will be in the form of scheduled virtual instructor-led classes, 1:1 scheduler engagement, and presentations to groups of schedulers as needed. This position will collaborate with the COE leadership and local branch operators to ensure schedulers are trained to scheduling independence within the established timeframe. The Trainer may also assist with scheduler skills checkoffs, partnering with COE leadership & L&D to develop/update training materials, and support local branches with scheduler re-education as needed.

If you meet these qualifications, we would love to meet you:

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of home health scheduling experience required.
  • Related experience in training/instruction required.
  • Advanced knowledge of scheduling processes and HCHB workflow.

Responsibilities:  

As a COE Scheduling Trainer, you will:

  • Facilitate training and instruction for scheduling new hires including all required HCHB Navigation, Scheduling Workflow, Reports, daily task cadence, back-office meeting participation, and end-of-day scheduling planning.
  • Provide thorough instruction and ensure learner comprehension of complex scheduling topics including logistics planning, capacity enablement, clinician productivity, optimization, and continuity of care.
  • Partner with local branch leaders to ensure timely completion of new-hire onboarding, mentorship, and progress to scheduling independence.
  • Perform annual competency skills checkoffs for established schedulers to ensure adherence to SOP.
  • Collaborate with COE Scheduling leadership, Learning & Development, and Instructional Design teams to develop/update training materials.
