Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Sets up workstation and is ready to work fifteen minutes prior to scheduled opening;
breakdowns workstations upon closing and cleans and restocks station at the closing
of each shift.
- Prepares menu items to include deep-frying, broiling, steaming or grilling according to
quality, service, safety and sanitation standards.
- Maintains the quality and appearance of all food prepared and serviced in compliance
with quality control and portion control standards.
- Maintains the cleanliness and organization of assigned food venue and work stations
in accordance with all health and sanitation regulations.
- Inventories all food, production and serving supplies necessary for workstation.
- Collects payment, operates a cash register and give accurate change to customers as
needed.
- Reports any equipment malfunction to Supervisor.
- Assesses the efficiency of the operation and reports to management.
- Exhibits a professional appearance and maintains a friendly, cheerful and courteous
demeanor at all times.
- Performs all side work duties as assigned or requested by Supervisor and/or performs
the duties of a busser/dishwasher.
- Responds to customer questions and issues in a friendly and courteous manner;
contacts supervisor as needed.
- Follows guidelines regarding health, safety and customer service according to
established policies and procedures.
- Attends and participates in regularly scheduled staff meetings.
- Contributes to a team effort and accomplishes related results as required.

Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED. Must meet all knowledge, skills and abilities. Must be
eighteen (18) years of age for Arizona properties and twenty-one years (21) of age for New
Mexico properties. No felony, theft or stealing convictions. Must be able to successfully
pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen, background investigation, obtain and
maintain gaming license. Navajo preference.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of restaurant operations and food service principles.
- Knowledge of cold prep, proper knife handling, maintaining proper temperature, and
sanitation standards.
- Knowledge of cash handling.
- Ability to create a friendly atmosphere and demonstrate excellent customer service.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to interact and maintain good working relationships with individuals of varying
social and cultural backgrounds.
- Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with co-workers at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict time lines.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand for
prolonged periods, walk and sit; use hands for dexterity of motion; stoop, bend, kneel or
crouch, and have normal auditory, visual acuity, and verbal communications skills. The
employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Work Environment:
Work is generally performed in a Casino restaurant setting with a moderate noise level.
Extended hours and irregular shifts are required. Tight time constraints and multiple
demands are common
