Position Summary

The Quality Control Analyst I will be responsible for conducting routine environmental monitoring, product release testing, and raw material testing. This role requires precision, strong organizational skills, and computer proficiency. Effective communication and the ability to work with minimal supervision are key to success.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform environmental monitoring, including air viable particulate, non-viable particulate, surface sampling, and personnel monitoring.
• Receive raw materials and supplies for the QC laboratory and maintain inventory of laboratory supplies, media, and reagents.
• Adhere to standard operating procedures and good documentation practices to ensure data integrity and traceability.
• Assist with maintaining the overall operation of the department, including physical inventories, logs, documentation, and filing.
• Utilize GMP systems such as MODA and other laboratory computer systems.
• Review test results of other QC analysts for accuracy and precision, ensuring timely submission relative to product release dates.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of microbiology and laboratory instrumentation.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Computer proficiency.
• Effective communication skills.

Preferences

• Familiarity with QC-relevant current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) guidance (CFR, USP, EP, ICH, etc.).
