If you enjoy making a positive impact in the lives of others, then apply today and join our team of experienced, compassionate, and dedicated professionals.Delaware Valley Residential Care is currently seeking a Cognitive Therapist to meet the ever-changing social and therapeutic needs our program participants. Responsibilities:Plan, Lead and facilitate team activities both in house and on outingsMaximize residents' participation in groups and activitiesCounsels and encourages patients to develop leisure activitiesidentify, address, de-escalate resident behaviors as necessaryCompose Tally sheets, progress/service notes and all other necessary documentsPrepares progress charts and periodic reports for medical staff and other members of treatment team Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, or a closely related Human Services field, required3 years of work experience working in the mental health field, preferredAbility to lead both group and 1:1 sessionsAbility to maintain a positive attitude and promote a positive environment for both team members and participantsAbility to work weekends and holidays as scheduledDemonstrated ability to remain calm in tense and high-pressure situationsProven track record of timeliness and accountability What We Offer:Paid TrainingCompetitive compensation package, including;Medical, vision, and dental coverageGenerous Paid Time Off      #HP
