Johnson Service Group is an award-winning staffing company looking for a mechanical assembler that has done stator/mechanical windingspecifically insertion of slot liners. This is a Temp-Direct job for a motors company in Simi Valley, CA.

Pay Rate: $25.00-27.00 HR DOE Monday-Thursday

*Winds coils and inserts into stators
*Tests, forms, varnishes and bakes stators
*Route wires and cables within enclosures
*Must be a US citizen or Permanent Resident
*Must have prior coil/winding experience. If no experience then do not apply.
*High School diploma or combination of education and experience
*Minimum of 1 year Coil String Insertion experience
*Must have basic knowledge of varnishing and vacuum impregnation processes
*Soldering experience is a plus.
*Must have the ability to follow written and verbal instructions, and be a detail-oriented individual.
*Familiar with safe soldering practices; tinning and soldering lead connections
*Familiar with basic testing equipment (hi-pot, resistance, inductance meters)
*Ability to process basic mathematical equations.
*Ability to read blueprints/schematics is a plus.
