Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Pain Management Location: Queens & Bronx, New York Employment Type: Full-Time or Part-Time Work Setting: On-Site Compensation: $140,000–$160,000 annually or $65–$85 per hour Position Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join a multidisciplinary pain management team. The provider will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with acute and chronic pain conditions using evidence-based approaches focused on improving patient function and quality of life. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic reviews. Diagnose acute and chronic pain conditions and develop individualized treatment plans. Prescribe and manage medications, including non-opioid analgesics and adjunctive therapies. Perform or assist with interventional pain procedures, as permitted by credentials and scope of practice. Educate patients regarding pain management strategies, medication use, lifestyle modifications, and rehabilitation. Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals. Refer patients to appropriate specialists when clinically indicated. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR). Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory, clinical, and organizational standards. Stay current with developments, treatment options, and evidence-based practices in pain management. Required Qualifications Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing for NP candidates, or completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program. Active, unrestricted New York NP or PA-C license. DEA registration or eligibility to obtain registration. Current BLS or ACLS certification. Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient-care skills. Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. Preferred Qualifications Board certification, such as FNP, AGNP, PMHNP, or PA-C. At least 1 year of pain management experience. Experience with interventional pain procedures. Experience working in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
