Our client is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Cold Chain Packaging & Logistics Associate to join its operations team. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on logistics work, inventory management, shipping coordination, and customer interaction.

In this role, you will help ensure temperature-sensitive shipments and reusable packaging systems are properly prepared, documented, tracked, and managed throughout the shipping process.

What You'll Be Doing

• Assemble ready-for-use packaging systems for scheduled pickups.

• Support cold chain management for shipments across multiple temperature ranges.

• Prepare required shipment documentation.

• Manage inventory of packaging systems and related components.

• Monitor and manage gel pack inventory.

• Refurbish reusable packaging for future shipments.

• Safely handle dry ice and replenish shipments as required.

• Identify product temperature requirements and determine appropriate replenishment needs.

• Complete required GxP documentation and logs accurately and on time.

• Identify documentation requirements for domestic and international shipments.

• Issue airline airway bills for domestic and international non-revenue shipments and returned packaging assets.

• Follow established procedures for TempTale temperature-monitoring devices.

• Learn and utilize operating systems, including WorldStar and Opstar.

• Contact locations by phone to coordinate pickup of empty packaging systems and temperature monitors.

• Maintain accurate inventory and shipment information.

• Provide professional customer service when communicating with internal and external locations.

• Perform additional logistics, packaging, and inventory responsibilities as assigned.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

• Strong customer service and professional telephone skills.

• Comfortable making outbound calls to locations to coordinate pickups of empty packaging and temperature-monitoring devices.

• Ability to work Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to accurately complete shipping and GxP documentation.

• Ability to follow established procedures for handling temperature-sensitive shipments and packaging materials.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, logistics, inventory control, or cold chain operations.

• Familiarity with cold chain principles and temperature-controlled shipping.

• Experience handling dry ice is a plus.

• Experience with WorldStar, Opstar, TempTale devices, or similar shipping and temperature-monitoring systems is helpful.

• Familiarity with domestic and international shipping documentation.

• Forklift certification is a plus, but is not required.

• Experience working in a GxP, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or other regulated environment is beneficial.
