Cold-Forming Thread Roll Technician — Rockford, IL

At our client’s established manufacturing site in Rockford, you’ll be a key player in producing high-quality fasteners. This role is hands-on, quality-driven, and safety-focused.

Your impact

• Operate, monitor, and fine-tune thread rolling equipment to achieve precise thread forms
• Validate critical dimensions and thread quality using gauges and inspection tools
• Read and apply blueprints/technical drawings to set-ups and in-process checks
• Diagnose minor issues, perform small adjustments, and complete routine maintenance
• Hit throughput goals while upholding strict quality standards
• Partner with production and quality to drive consistency and process improvements
• Maintain a safe, orderly workstation and follow established safety procedures

Must-haves

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1–2+ years of dedicated thread rolling machine operation (required)
• Knowledge of fastener manufacturing, troubleshooting, and machine maintenance (required)
• Proven ability to read/interpret blueprints and technical drawings (required)

When and where you’ll work

• Location: Rockford, IL (on-site)
• Schedule: Monday–Thursday; possible OT on Fridays
• Shifts: 1st (7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.) or 2nd (5:00 p.m. – 3:00 a.m.)
• Pay: $30.00–$40.00/hour, DOE
