Overview:
The packager is responsible for the banding and packaging of coils.
Responsibilities:- Properly package, band and identify finished coils
- Assist with inventory management
- Unload packaging supplies
- Operation of coil tracking and location equipment
- Perform any labor duties required by the lines
Requirements
A strong desire and ability to work safely
Be able to work in a fast pace environment
Experience/Preferences
- Basic mechanical and electrical skills
- Safety and quality oriented
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Desire to learn other positions for development and advancement
- Overhead crane certified, preferred
- Forklift certified, preferred
