Collaborating Physician – Nevada Medicaid Programs (Contractor)
- Location/Type: Nevada • Remote
- Pay: $600 - $750/month

What you'll do
- Serve as Collaborating Physician for Nevada Nurse Practitioners
- Provide clinical consultation and treatment guidance
- Support Medicaid, Medicare, and dual-eligible populations
- Conduct chart reviews and clinical oversight activities
- Ensure regulatory and payer compliance
- Review clinical protocols and quality initiatives
- Support credentialing, audits, and compliance readiness
Must-haves
- MD or DO degree
- Active, unrestricted Nevada medical license
- Board Certification in a related specialty
- Reside and actively practice in Nevada
- Prior NP collaboration experience in Nevada
- Knowledge of Nevada collaborative practice requirements
- Experience with Medicaid populations or managed care programs
Nice to have
- Nevada Medicaid MCO experience
- Medicare Advantage or D-SNP experience
- Home-based or community-based care experience
- Knowledge of HEDIS (quality measures), Stars, and risk adjustment
- Experience collaborating with multiple NPs
