Collateral Oversight/Portfolio Review

We’re hiring for a residential investment lender to help oversee 500–600 loans, assess property values and resolve complex loan situations. Working directly with the CEO and Chief Investment Officer, you’ll use your commercial judgement to identify risks, protect capital and recommend practical solutions.

What you’ll do

• Monitor loan performance, renovation progress, funding requests and overdue payments.
• Review property valuations, after-repair values and renovation budgets.
• Assess repair draws, stalled projects and requests for additional funding.
• Work with borrowers on extensions, loan workouts and recovery plans.
• Recommend the best approach for problem properties, including completing renovations, renting or selling.

What we’re looking for

• At least five years’ relevant experience, ideally in residential lending, asset management, underwriting or credit analysis.
• Strong analytical skills, commercial judgement and confidence to challenge assumptions.
• Ability to assess property values, loan performance and renovation budgets.
• Clear communication and strong organisation.

Experience with distressed loans, renovation finance or borrower negotiations would be valuable. You don’t need to have done everything listed. Training is available for the right person with strong real estate knowledge and judgement.
