Collateral Security Specialist

Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Collateral Security Specialist Level III to support U.S. Space Force security programs. This role manages day-to-day personnel security operations and helps protect classified information, facilities, and personnel across SCI and collateral environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage personnel security actions in the Defense Information System for Security (DISS), including indoctrinations, in-processing, out-processing, and access coordination.
• Support personnel, physical, information, and industrial security programs.
• Coordinate badging and access for military, civilian, and contractor personnel.
• Advise security staff and senior leaders on security requirements and procedures.
• Support inspections and audits, conduct self-inspections, and help resolve identified vulnerabilities.
• Develop security training and update standard operating procedures for government review.
• Coordinate with the installation Information Protection office and serve as an alarm custodian for SCI and collateral spaces.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) eligibility.
• At least 10 years of relevant DoD or equivalent federal service experience.
• At least four years of SCI or SAP experience, including work in such an environment within the past five years.
• Experience using DISS.
• Master’s degree in arts, science, or engineering; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Willingness to undergo a government counterintelligence scope polygraph, if required.
