The Collections and Foreclosure team is expanding and seeking an experienced Attorney to join a growing team handling sophisticated collection and foreclosure matters. This role is ideal for a seasoned litigator who values courtroom work client relationships and long-term professional stability within a supportive firm environment.
Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of collection and foreclosure matters from inception through conclusion including developing litigation strategy and managing caseload with accuracy and efficiency
Draft and review pleadings motions and other legal documents in compliance with state and federal regulations including the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act
Represent clients in court appearances hearings and related proceedings while maintaining proactive and professional client communication throughout each matter
Collaborate with internal paralegal and support teams to deliver efficient compliant and client-focused legal solutions across community association and general collection matters
Qualifications
JD from an ABA-approved law school with an active New Jersey Bar membership in good standing
2+ years of collections foreclosure and/or litigation experience; prior community association collection experience preferred but not required
Strong organizational communication and time management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced high-volume environment
Demonstrated knowledge of the FDCPA and related state laws with a strong commitment to client service and exceeding client expectations
