Collection Route Driver (Class A or B)
Location: Truckee, California
Pay Rate: Starting at $31.00 per hour (based on experience)
Position Overview We are currently seeking dependable and safety-conscious Collection Route Drivers (Class A or B) to join our team in Truckee, CA. This is a full-time, year-round opportunity offering competitive pay, excellent benefits, and long-term career stability.
Schedule - Monday through Friday
- 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch break
- Holiday work may be required
Key Responsibilities - Operate collection vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Perform residential trash collection and route services.
- Handle house-to-house residential trash can pickups.
- Maintain compliance with all company safety policies and DOT regulations.
- Complete daily inspections and required documentation.
Qualifications- Must be at least 25 years of age.
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or permit.
- Clean and insurable driving record.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check, medical examination, and drug screening.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds regularly.
- Physically capable of performing demanding outdoor work.
- Must be able to read and write in English.
