FieldBridge is looking for a B2B Collections Specialist in Charlotte, NC to work with a company leader in developing innovative water solutions through smart technology. We offer weekly pay + benefits.
Pay is $28.00–$30.00/hour (DOE) | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM ET | Weekly pay every Friday | Hybrid schedule 3 days on-site per week.
Position Overview
This role leads proactive collections efforts for key customer accounts within a Shared Services environment, with a strong focus on process improvement and DSO reduction. The specialist will serve as both a strategic contributor and a mentor to a third-party collections team, guiding escalated issues and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This is an analytical, coaching-driven role — not a quota-based productivity role.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage timely collections and resolution of past-due accounts receivable for assigned key customer accounts
- Monitor past-due percentages and develop action plans to improve cash flow and DSO performance
- Lead and participate in governance calls, Kaizen events, and continuous process improvement projects
- Advise and support the third-party collections team on escalated issues, providing coaching and oversight
- Collaborate with Cash Applications and internal stakeholders to resolve open credits, refunds, and disputes
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of B2B collections experience with strong knowledge of the order-to-cash process
- Minimum 1 year of SAP experience within the past 3 years (required); GetPaid experience a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Experience with government portals (PIEE/WAWF, IPP.gov) preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred; specialized certification a plus
