Collections/AR Analyst

CBIZ Talent Solutions is partnering with a valued client in the West Babylon, NY area with their search for a qualified AR Analyst/B2B Collections Specialist. This high-volume role requires at least five years of commercial B2B collections experience, along with strong account reconciliation and cash application skills. The Collections/Accounts Receivable Analyst will manage assigned customer accounts, collect past-due balances, reconcile account discrepancies, apply payments, and support accurate accounts receivable reporting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor aging reports and collect past-due commercial accounts
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing, payment, and credit discrepancies
• Process cash applications, including ACH, checks, and wire transfers
• Partner with customers and internal teams to resolve account issues
• Process new customer applications and maintain accurate account records
• Prepare accounts receivable and collections reports
• Provide additional support to the accounting department as needed

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial collections and accounts receivable experience
• Strong B2B collections, account reconciliation, and cash application skills
• Working knowledge of accounts receivable processes and basic accounting principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
• NetSuite experience is preferred but not required
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Compensation: $70K-$80K
Schedule: 100% Onsite
