Senior Collections Analyst III
NextStep Recruiting has partnered with a leading North American distributor of technology solutions to find a Senior Collections Analyst III in Dallas County. An ideal candidate will bring deep order-to-cash expertise, strong business-to-business collections experience, and the ability to manage a large accounts receivable portfolio with accuracy and professionalism. This person will be skilled at resolving customer disputes, improving collections performance, supporting internal stakeholders, and driving process improvements across accounts receivable operations.
Required:
- Bachelor's degree required; preferred fields of study include Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- 3+ years of relevant experience with a preferred degree, or 5+ years of relevant experience if degree is in a different field
- 6+ years of order-to-cash experience, including collections, billing, or cash applications
- Experience in business-to-business collections
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables
- Experience with ERP or accounting software
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage a high-volume AR portfolio
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate across departments
- Ability to support compliance with KPIs, SOX, and internal controls
Preferred:
- Experience serving as a mentor or escalation point for junior team members
- Experience with ad hoc reporting for finance and operations teams
- Experience supporting system implementations and process improvements within AR and collections
