Job DescriptionCollections Representative - West Hills, CA, Monday to Friday, Between 7:00AM - 5:30PM PSTThis position is Remote in West Hills, CA. Interested candidates should be located within commutable distance to the office at 8407 Fallbrook Ave West Hills, CA 91304.Pay range: $20.44 - $26/hourSalary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. • and so much more!Responsibilities: Responsible for managing Third - Party AR by analyzing denied and un-responded claimsOutbound calls to insurance carriers to appeal and check claims statusPost explanation of benefitsCoordinate with insurance carriers to reconcile / resolve any issuesFamiliar with explanation of benefitsMaintain Compliance and HIPAA standards at all timesMeet or exceed daily production standards by maintaining work list according to metricsMeet or exceed daily quality standardsPerform other duties and functions as assignedProcess insurance / patient refunds and adjustmentsEvaluate and respond to all emails request for any deposit issues in order to resolve in a timely matterQualifications: Required Qualifications:High School Diploma / GED Must be 18 years of age OR older Ability to create and modify spreadsheets within Microsoft ExcelAbility to work between the hours of 7:00AM - 5:30PM PST from Monday - FridayPreferred Qualifications:Medical Billing experienceFamiliar with explanation of benefits Telecommuting Requirements: Reside within a commutable distance from 8407 Fallbrook Ave West Hills, CA 91304 with ability to come onsite for meetings Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable) Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy Soft Skills:Ability to navigate on internet for researching purposesProblem solving, organization and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamCommunication skills, bothQualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered for Employment in accordance with the following laws if applicable, the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers, the Los Angeles'' Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance, the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, and the California Fair Chance Act.Quest believes that conviction records may have a direct, adverse, and negative relationship to the following job duties: accessing company property, information, assets, and products including sensitive information; accessing customer data or confidential information, and partnering and regularly working with or supervising other Quest employees and interacting with Quest customers.66181Quest Diagnostics honors our service members and encourages veterans to apply.
