Job Title: Collections Representative
Location: Remote
Shift: Must be flexible M-F, 9am-7pm timeframe
Pay: $21+ (DOE)
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Credit & Collections Specialist to support our financial operations and help maintain strong client relationships. This role is key to ensuring timely collections, evaluating credit risk, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end credit and collections cycle
- Follow up with customers on outstanding invoices while maintaining positive relationships
- Evaluate customer creditworthiness using financial data and payment history
- Partner with internal teams (finance, sales, customer service) to resolve billing issues
- Maintain accurate records and generate reports on receivables and collection activity
- Identify trends and recommend process improvements to enhance collection efficiency
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 2–4 years of experience in credit, collections, or a related finance role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial/accounting systems
- Ability to collaborate and can work cross-functionally
- Proactive in resolving issues and improving processes
- Ability to balance firm collections practices with strong customer service
