Position: Accounts Receivable Specialist
Based In: Browns Summit, NC, 27214
Setting: 100% Remote
Pay: $20 - $23/hour
This role blends commercial B2B collections with analytical cash application research for a fast growing, high volume organization. Ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, can pivot quickly, and enjoys investigative work.
Responsibilities:
- Manage fullcycle B2B collections across diverse client types and requirements
- Build customer profiles, understand billing requirements, and gather supporting documentation
- Handle lien waivers, track government disbursements, and tailor outreach to each customer
- Conduct deep research on unapplied cash and create the appropriate paper trail
- Analyze complex payment histories across multiple acquired back office systems
- Manually review and resolve the 30% of cash applications not auto processed
- Communicate with clients (phone for U.S., email for international) to resolve discrepancies
- Work collaboratively in a high production, team oriented environment.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of B2B collections experience with varied customer profiles
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Ability to adapt approach based on customer type and situation
- Highly organized, detail oriented, and proactive
- Comfortable handling large daily cash volumes
