What You'll Do:

  • Serve as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for borrowers seeking loss mitigation and payment assistance
  • Analyze delinquent accounts, gather financial information, and recommend appropriate workout solutions
  • Coordinate with Loss Mitigation to ensure accurate follow-up and implementation of approved workout plans
  • Prepare and send required RESPA notices and borrower communications
  • Provide training, mentorship, and guidance to collections team members
  • Assist with developing and maintaining collection procedures, reports, and training materials
  • Monitor delinquency trends and assist leadership with reporting and portfolio performance analysis
  • Calculate month-end delinquency metrics and support daily reporting activities
  • Track queue volumes, field visits, and workload distribution
  • Perform skip tracing activities and assist with borrower location efforts
  • Monitor vendors and agencies to ensure timely and compliant completion of assigned actions
  • Maintain compliance with FDCPA, RESPA, FCRA, CFPB, investor, and internal servicing requirements

What You Bring:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred
  • 2-3 years of experience in mortgage collections, loss mitigation, default servicing, or related functions
  • Working knowledge of FDCPA, RESPA, FCRA, foreclosure, bankruptcy, and collection regulations
  • Understanding of mortgage servicing, investor guidelines, and foreclosure processes
  • Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and borrower communication skills
  • Experience analyzing delinquency trends and recommending solutions
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and mortgage servicing platforms
  • Ability to work independently while supporting team success and departmental objectives
  • Commitment to compliance, professionalism, and exceptional customer service
