POSITION OVERVIEW
The primary objective of this position is to plan, implement and coordinate high-quality OST & summer youth development activities for grades 6-12 under supervision of the Associate Director, Youth + Future Focus. The Bilingual Media + College Access Coordinator will engage in intentional relationship building with youth, families and community partners in the Phillips neighborhood and across South Minneapolis. They will be charged with building out and facilitating arts, media and storytelling activities, organizing opportunities/partnerships for youth internships and clubs. They will lead the FANS Scholars college access cohort at Waite House and facilitate media activities within Minneapolis Public Schools Beacons program. In addition to facilitating programming, this position will provide 1:1 goal-setting and case management services for 16 FANS Scholars annually and supervise tutor(s) and college intern(s), as assigned, to co-facilitate activities.
