Responsibilities
The student is responsible for the administrative and marketing support of College of Business programs and day-to-day operations.
Job Duties
Greet guests as they enter the College of Business suite; (Communication, Professionalism)
Retention efforts by contacting stop-outs, returning students, non-registered students to improvement enrollment; (Communication, Critical Thinking, Technology)
Create marketing materials to promote college programs (e.g. posters, flyers, campus magazine); (Technology, Critical Thinking, Communication)
Organize and order supplies and other materials; (Critical Thinking, Technology)
Help with marketing strategies to improve enrollment; (Critical Thinking, Communication)
Reviewing web pages and suggesting updates; (Technology, Communication, Critical Thinking)
Make recommendations for social media postings and work with marketing to ensure they are completed; (Critical Thinking, Teamwork, Communication, Technology)
Administrative duties associated with running the college (e.g., filing, copying, sorting, etc.) (Technology, Professionalism)
The student worker will work independently under the supervision of the dean and administrative assistant; (Professionalism)
Assist with the running of the VIA program designed to develop Franciscan and Catholic programs (Teamwork, Leadership, Critical Thinking)
Assist with college events, mailings, etc. (Teamwork, Professionalism)
Work with faculty on individual projects as needed (Teamwork, Communication, Professionalism)
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Current USF student in good standing
Typing skills
Knowledge of computers including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Canva
Good communication skills (both oral and written)
All majors are encouraged to apply
Knowledge of social media
Able to work independently with minimal direction
Good problem solving and critical thinking skills
Preference may be given to business majors or those interested in business
Consider both federal work-study qualified and non-qualified
