The Role
The College Persistence Advisor (Part-Time) is an instrumental member of the Academy team. The College Persistence Advisor supports undergraduate members as they navigate college and progress toward timely degree completion. This role is responsible for ensuring that members remain enrolled, academically on track, financially prepared, and connected to the resources necessary to persist through graduation and achieve strong first-career outcomes.
The College Persistence Advisor is responsible for executing the Academy's college persistence advising model and working closely with undergraduate members to develop academic, financial, personal, and career-readiness plans aligned to degree completion. The advisor monitors member progress, reviews academic performance and enrollment status, supports course planning and campus engagement, helps members address barriers to persistence, and connects them to institutional and Academy resources. The advisor serves as a trusted coach, advocate, and navigator, providing individualized advising, coordinating supports, and maintaining regular communication to promote long-term college success.
