Hunton Services, a division of the Hunton Group (www.huntongroup.com), is seeking to hire a Commercial Area Service Manager for our Service group. The ASM will be responsible for growing and developing a multi-million-dollar business while working with other functions inside of Hunton Services (Sales, Finance, HR, Project Management) to accomplish that goal. Ideal candidate is expected to manage, retain and grow our recurring revenue service agreement base, which is the foundation of the business, while working with Sales to acquire new customers. Non-recurring revenue in the form of projects, emergency service, retrofits, upgrades, etc. will also be the responsibility of the ASM to identify, secure and execute. A critical element of managing this business involves manpower forecasting and planning for the efficient and timely execution of contract compliance and obligations in a given time frame and with available resources.

Responsibilities:
- Remotely monitor, manage, and analyze solutions to problems before dispatching mobile technicians.
- Oversee all aspects of planning for ongoing service contracts and emergency service needs, including work orders, change requests, etc.
- Identify and prioritize service calls and plan in detail.
- Responsible for customer satisfaction and budget for assigned business division.
- Review and validate contracts and estimates by performing risk analysis and developing risk plans.
- Create and revise schedules including assigning tasks.
- Meet with subcontractors, vendors, and owners to discuss scope of service call; budgets; performance; and close-out.
- Function as the primary interface between the customer, vendors, subcontractors, and internal resources.
- Identify possible cost-saving opportunities and/or risk items that will occur on service calls.
- Facilitate invoicing and payments by verifying and approving service-related materials.
- Maintain quality standards by supervising technicians and inspecting job sites.
- Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communicating with customers and assigned staff.
- Manage the assigned service call within the time and cost estimates.
- Obtain acceptance and timely sign-off of service calls or quoted jobs by the customer.
- Train and develop HVAC Field Technicians.
- Make recommendations for hiring/terminating/disciplinary actions of staff to the Director of Service Operations.
- Assist in scheduling, organizing, and dispatching HVAC Field Technicians.
- Conduct performance appraisals in concert with service supervisory personnel to recommend raises, promotions, training, and disciplinary actions.
- Manage performance by monitoring service personnel effectiveness and efficiency in relation to customer service and operating plan goals.
- Expectation to be in the field three days a week meeting with customers, field supervisors and technicians.
- Meet with RC weekly to review WIP, billable backlog, billed detail, and warranty jobs.
- Prepare and participate in monthly team business reviews.
- Arrange and lead monthly safety meetings ensuring the communication of team needs.
- Review technician payroll report for approval.
- Regular travel requirements with some overnight travel.
